Professor Glaucio H. Paulino and research group member Ke Liu collaborated with Professor H. Jerry Qi and Jiangtau Wu from the George W. Woodruff School of Mechanical Engineering at Georgia Tech to develop a method for actively deploying tensegrity structures (networks composed of discontinuous struts and continuous cables under a state of self-stress).
